Contract Android Developer


We are in need of an experienced Android Developer to join our team on a contract basis. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. Your main duties will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features, troubleshooting and debugging existing code, and ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Android Developer with a strong portfolio of previous projects
- In-depth knowledge of Java, Kotlin, and the Android SDK
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code and ensure code quality through unit testing
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Troubleshoot issues and perform bug fixes on existing codebase
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Maintain code quality through unit testing and other best practices
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality work is delivered on time

Location:
This position is based in Kolding but remote work may be possible depending on the candidate's location. We are open to candidates from all nationalities.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1000$ per month.

Contract Duration:
This is a contract position with a minimum duration of 6 months. The contract may be extended based on performance.

Accommodation:
We can provide accommodation for the duration of the contract if needed.

Visa & Travel:
We will cover visa expenses and provide a round-trip ticket for non-local candidates.
