Locksmith - Contract Position in Alta, Norway


We are a reputable security company in Alta, Norway looking for a skilled and experienced Locksmith to join our team on a contract basis. As a Locksmith, you will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining various types of locks and security systems. Your expertise in key cutting and lock picking techniques will be essential in ensuring the safety and security of our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Install and repair locks, deadbolts, and other security devices
- Cut new or duplicate keys using key-cutting machines
- Use specialized tools to open locked doors or safes without causing damage
- Rekey locks to fit new keys in case of lost or stolen keys
- Assess security needs and recommend appropriate systems for clients
- Provide emergency lockout services for residential, commercial or automotive clients
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Locksmith or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of locks and security systems
- Familiarity with key cutting machines and lock picking tools
- Good understanding of safety procedures when handling hazardous materials such as chemicals used for lock picking
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in emergency situations
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Good communication skills
Salary: 1000$ per week (negotiable based on experience)
