Land Surveyor
As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and preparing detailed maps and reports for construction, engineering, and land development projects. Your duties will include using specialized equipment to measure and record land features, analyzing data to determine boundaries and elevations, and creating accurate depictions of survey results. You will also be responsible for obtaining permits and approvals from local government agencies, communicating with clients to understand project requirements, and ensuring that all work is completed according to industry standards and applicable laws. This position requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A Bachelor's degree in surveying or a related field is preferred, along with at least 2 years of experience in land surveying. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software is also required.
