Commercial Architect - Lisbon, Portugal



We are seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Architect to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and planning commercial buildings and spaces that meet the needs and desires of our clients. This is a contract position with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and budget for commercial projects
- Create detailed drawings and plans for new or renovated commercial spaces
- Oversee the construction process to ensure the project is executed according to plans and specifications
- Conduct site visits to assess progress, address any issues, and make necessary adjustments
- Coordinate with consultants, engineers, contractors, and other team members to ensure successful project completion
- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and building codes to incorporate into designs
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Commercial Architect
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software programs
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients, team members, and contractors
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working on commercial projects in Lisbon or Portugal
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles
- Fluency in Portuguese (written and spoken)

This is an urgent position that requires someone who can hit the ground running. The successful candidate must have their own accommodation in Lisbon as this is not a relocation opportunity.
