Pastry Chef - Las Vegas, USA



We are seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Las Vegas, USA. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious desserts, pastries, and other baked goods for our customers. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new pastry recipes that are unique and appealing to our customers
- Ensure all pastries and desserts are prepared according to established recipes and quality standards
- Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies needed for production
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
- Collaborate with other chefs to create new menu items
- Regularly inspect the quality of all pastries before they are served to customers
- Ensure all food safety guidelines and regulations are followed
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and well-maintained

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and safety procedures
- Creativity in designing new pastries and desserts
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and train a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certificate preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker in a high-volume restaurant or bakery
- Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a hot environment
- Knowledge of Malayalee cuisine is an asset
