Typesetter

A publishing company in Porto is seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for various print and digital publications. Your attention to detail and knowledge of typography and design principles will ensure that our publications are visually appealing and error-free.

Responsibilities:
- Typeset text and images according to layout specifications
- Ensure consistency in font, spacing, and alignment
- Proofread for spelling, grammar, and formatting errors
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and production team to meet project deadlines
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends in typography and design

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other typesetting software
- Strong knowledge of typography and design principles
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines

Salary: 1100$ per month

Location: Porto (Portugal)
