We are seeking a skilled Back-End Developer to join our team on a contract basis in Oslo, Norway. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing the server-side logic and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be involved in integrating the front-end elements built by your team into the application. The ideal candidate should have experience with back-end programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js and be familiar with database systems. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are also essential for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop server-side logic for web applications
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness to requests from front-end
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Implement security measures to protect against cyber attacks

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of back-end programming languages (Java, Python, Node.js)
- Experience with database systems (MySQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with front-end languages (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Salary: 1700$ per month
