Junior Accountant

We are a growing accounting firm located in Os, seeking a detail-oriented and driven Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures, as well as excellent organizational skills. This position offers the opportunity for growth and development in the field of accounting.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of accounts
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Assist with tax preparation and filing
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Analyze financial data to identify trends or discrepancies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software programs (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Prior experience in an accounting role is a plus, but not required

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)

City: Os, Nigeria
