Accountant vacancy in Os Norway

Junior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Os, Norway. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures, as well as excellent communication and time management skills. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1300 per month. Accommodation is provided for the right candidate. Women are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
- Record daily financial transactions into the accounting system
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts
- Prepare and submit tax returns
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Communicate with internal teams and external parties regarding financial matters
- Perform other duties as assigned by senior accountants or managers

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred but not required for candidates with relevant work experience)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software programs (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
