Part-Time Typesetter in Braga, Portugal

We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our team in Braga on a part-time basis. As our Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for printed materials such as books, magazines, and newspapers. Your attention to detail and eye for design will be crucial in ensuring the final product is visually appealing and error-free.

Responsibilities:
- Receive text and images from editors or clients and format them according to design specifications
- Use typesetting software to adjust font size, spacing, margins, and other elements as needed
- Proofread documents for spelling and grammar errors before sending them to print
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and production staff to ensure deadlines are met
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and software updates to enhance your skills

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or in a similar role
- Proficiency in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong understanding of typography, layout design, and printing processes
- Excellent command of English language with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Availability to work part-time hours in Braga
