Crane Operator

We are in need of a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Oslo. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of cranes to lift, move and position heavy objects on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating cranes and possess a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes, including tower, mobile, and overhead cranes
- Interpret and follow blueprints to determine the correct placement of loads
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate movements
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality
- Rig loads for lifting and secure them properly using appropriate chains, ropes or slings
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust operations accordingly
- Maintain a clean work environment and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a crane operator is required
- Must have a valid crane operator certification/license
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to crane operations
- Ability to interpret blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Physically fit with the ability to stand, sit, climb, bend or stoop for extended periods of time
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions

Salary:
The salary for this position starts at 1100$ per week, with potential for increase based on performance. Benefits such as health insurance and paid time off may also be included.
