Concrete Worker



We are hiring a skilled and dependable Concrete Worker to join our construction team in Bergen. In this role, you will be responsible for pouring, smoothing, and finishing concrete surfaces as well as setting up and dismantling formwork. You will also be involved in the preparation of materials and equipment for concrete work.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare construction sites by setting up barricades, temporary structures, and other safety measures
- Load and unload materials from trucks or equipment
- Set up formwork according to blueprints or plans
- Pour concrete into designated areas and use various tools to smooth and level the surface
- Operate power tools such as jackhammers, drills, and saws to break up or cut concrete as needed
- Use hand tools such as trowels, shovels, and rakes to finish concrete surfaces
- Apply sealants or protective coatings to preserve the quality of the concrete
- Clean and maintain all equipment after use
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience as a Concrete Worker or similar role is preferred but not required
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods of time, and work in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of basic math calculations for measuring materials and estimating quantities needed for projects
- Familiarity with different types of concrete mixes and their uses
- Ability to read blueprints or plans is a plus
- Own visa preferred but not required

Salary:
Starting salary is $1700 per month with potential for growth based on performance.
