Electrician

Position Overview:
We are hiring a skilled Electrician to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment, ensuring that they operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and possess a valid visa to work in the country.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints or technical diagrams to understand wiring layouts
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using various testing devices
- Identify faulty components and replace or repair them accordingly
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant codes and regulations
- Collaborate with other team members on projects as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrician or similar role
- Valid visa to work in Almada, Portugal (non-negotiable)
- Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good physical condition with the ability to work in confined spaces or at heights if necessary

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational education or apprenticeship preferred
- Valid electrician license from the relevant authorities in Almada (or willingness to obtain)
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to electrical work

Working Conditions:
The position of Electrician requires working indoors in a variety of settings such as residential homes, commercial buildings or construction sites. The job may also involve working outdoors on occasion. The role may require working weekends or evenings depending on project deadlines.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
