Preservation Architect


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures, ensuring their structural integrity and historical significance are maintained.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of historical buildings to determine preservation needs
- Developing preservation plans and strategies for restoration projects
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals on restoration projects
- Ensuring that all restoration work is in compliance with local regulations and guidelines
- Utilizing specialized preservation techniques and materials to preserve the original character of historical structures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture with a focus on historic preservation
- Proven experience in preservation architecture, preferably with historical buildings
- Extensive knowledge of preservation techniques, materials, and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a team
