IT Manager (Almada, Portugal)


We are seeking an experienced and driven IT Manager to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our company's information technology systems. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and reliability of company data
- Manage and maintain all hardware, software, and network systems
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Plan and execute upgrades, installations, and maintenance of IT infrastructure
- Oversee a team of IT professionals and provide technical support when necessary
- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and implement solutions to improve efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends to make strategic recommendations for the company

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, hardware devices, and software applications
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment

Preferences:
- Portuguese nationality or knowledge of Portuguese language is preferred but not required
- Previous experience working in a contract role is a plus
