Job Title: QA Engineer


A fast-growing software development company in Faroe-Islands is looking for a skilled and experienced QA Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis. This is a remote position, so candidates from any location are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform manual and automated testing of software products
- Identify and report bugs, errors, and issues
- Collaborate with developers to resolve technical problems
- Maintain documentation of testing processes
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in quality assurance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or similar tools
- Familiarity with programming languages like Java or Python
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills:
- ISTQB certification or equivalent
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Previous experience working in a remote environment

Salary: 1500$

Location: Remote (Faroe Islands preferred)
