Web Designer



We are seeking a talented Web Designer to join our team in Alta, Norway on a contract basis. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meet the needs of our clients. You must have experience in web design and be able to work independently. Your creativity, attention to detail, and ability to stay up-to-date with the latest design trends are essential for this role. The ideal candidate must also have their own visa or be eligible to work in Norway. This is a great opportunity for an experienced web designer looking for a challenging and dynamic role.

Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their website needs and goals
- Design and develop website layouts using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Ensure websites are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for multiple devices
- Create mockups and wireframes for client approval
- Incorporate feedback from clients and team members into website designs
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web design
- Conduct regular quality checks on existing websites to ensure functionality and performance

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a web designer or similar role
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous web design projects
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant design software
- Understanding of SEO principles and best practices
- Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Experience working with WordPress or other content management systems
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles and best practices
- Experience with responsive design techniques
