Entry Level Typesetter


We are in search of a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Typesetter to join our team in Faroe Islands. As a typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images in various print and digital materials, such as books, magazines, websites, and advertisements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for design and typography to begin their career in the publishing industry.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret written material to determine appropriate layout
- Use desktop publishing software to format text, images, and graphics
- Ensure accuracy of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and overall design
- Collaborate with writers, editors, and designers to achieve desired final product
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in typesetting technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred
- Proficient in desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong understanding of typography principles and design fundamentals
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members from various departments

Salary:
This is an entry level position with a starting salary of $1700 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Faroe Islands. Applicants must have valid work authorization for the Faroe Islands.
