Pastry Chef
Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in the beautiful mountain town of Bansko. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing pastries, desserts, and breads for our restaurant. The ideal candidate should be passionate about pastry making and have a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare high-quality pastries, desserts, and breads according to recipes and standards
- Oversee the production of baked goods for daily service and special events
- Maintain inventory of ingredients, equipment, and supplies
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of all products
- Train and supervise junior pastry chefs
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to develop new menu items
- Follow all food safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
- Knowledge of various pastry techniques including baking, decorating, and plating
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team setting
- Creativity and passion for creating new dishes
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per month plus tips.
Location:
This position is based in Bansko, a picturesque town located in the mountains of Bulgaria. Bansko is known for its ski resort, charming old town, and delicious cuisine.
