Experienced Pastry Chef at High-End Ski Resort in Bansko, Bulgaria



We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at a luxury ski resort in Bansko, Bulgaria. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in pastry and baking, and be able to create delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of desserts, pastries, breads, and other baked goods according to established recipes
- Create new menu items and specials based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Ensure all products are consistently high quality and presented beautifully to guests
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain stock levels
- Train and supervise other pastry staff members as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the kitchen

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in pastry and baking in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Extensive knowledge of different types of pastries, breads, cakes, and other desserts
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Creativity to develop new menu items while also maintaining classic favorites
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely delivery of products
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with kitchen staff and communicate with front-of-house team
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
