Job Title: Preservation Architect
A well-established architecture firm in Herning is seeking a highly skilled Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving historical buildings and structures while also incorporating modern design elements. This is a full-time position open to all nationalities.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough research and analysis of historical buildings and structures
- Creating preservation plans that comply with local regulations and standards
- Collaborating with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the preservation process runs smoothly
- Utilizing cutting-edge technology and techniques to preserve buildings while also incorporating necessary updates
- Providing expertise on materials, techniques, and processes used in historic preservation
- Conducting site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with preservation plans
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in historic preservation projects
- Extensive knowledge of architectural history, building materials, and traditional construction techniques
- Strong understanding of local building codes and regulations related to historic preservation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs
Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1300 per month.
