Preservation Architect


We are seeking a qualified and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Herning, Denmark. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for historic preservation and architectural design to work on a variety of projects in the beautiful city of Herning.

As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures while ensuring that they meet modern building codes and standards. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other professionals to develop preservation plans and oversee the implementation of these plans.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings to determine their condition and identify areas that require preservation or restoration
- Develop detailed preservation plans that adhere to local regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the successful execution of preservation projects
- Oversee the restoration process, including selecting appropriate materials, techniques, and technologies
- Ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Monitor the progress of projects and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Provide guidance on sustainability practices in historic preservation projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Preservation Architect
- In-depth knowledge of historic preservation principles, techniques, materials, and technologies
- Familiarity with relevant local regulations and guidelines for historic preservation projects
- Proven ability to develop detailed preservation plans and oversee their successful implementation
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and other professionals

Salary:
The salary for this position is $900 per month.
