Experienced Sailor - El-Fujairah


We are a reputable shipping company operating in El-Fujairah and we are currently seeking an experienced Sailor 1st class to join our team. As a sailor, you will play an essential role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our vessel.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the vessel, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs
- Operate and maintain various equipment onboard, such as navigation systems, life-saving equipment, and engines
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of the crew and vessel at all times
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo, as well as securing it properly for transport
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust navigation as needed to ensure a smooth voyage
- Communicate with other crew members to coordinate tasks and work together effectively

Requirements:
- Must hold a valid Sailor 1st class certification or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience working as a sailor on commercial vessels
- Proficient in operating navigation systems and other onboard equipment
- Physically fit and able to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods of time
- Ability to work well under pressure in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills in English (Malayalam or Filipino language skills are a plus)
- Must have own visa or residency permit allowing employment in the UAE
