Junior Network and Systems Administrator



We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Network and Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team in Monte-Carlo, Monaco. As a Junior Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading our company's network and systems infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Implement security measures to protect the company's network from cyber threats
- Maintain and upgrade servers, operating systems, and software applications
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network related issues
- Conduct regular backups of data to ensure data integrity
- Assist in the development of disaster recovery plans
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to resolve complex technical issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience in networking and systems administration (1+ years)
- Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, LAN/WAN technologies, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VPNs, firewalls, and wireless networks
- Familiarity with server operating systems such as Windows Server or Linux
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues quickly
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferences:
While not required, the following preferences will be considered:
- Biometric passport for ease of travel (not required for local candidates)
- Previous experience working with Cisco networking equipment
- Experience with cloud computing technologies such as AWS or Azure

Salary:
Starting salary of $1000 per month with potential for growth based on performance.
