Facade Engineer


We are hiring a skilled Facade Engineer to join our team in Lisbon! As a Facade Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, constructing and maintaining the exterior of buildings. This includes analyzing the structural integrity of facades, choosing materials and creating detailed plans for construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building physics, structural engineering principles and building codes.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and construction teams to design and construct facades that meet aesthetic and functional requirements
- Conduct site surveys and inspections to assess the condition of existing facades
- Analyze structural calculations to ensure the safety and stability of facades
- Select appropriate materials for facade construction based on their durability, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness
- Create detailed plans for facade construction that include dimensions, materials, and installation methods
- Oversee facade installation to ensure it is carried out according to plan and meets safety standards
- Provide technical support during the construction process to address any issues or challenges that may arise
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in facade technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in facade design or construction
- Strong knowledge of building physics, structural engineering principles, and building codes
- Proficiency in CAD software for creating detailed plans
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex information
- Fluent in English (Portuguese is a plus)

Salary:
The salary for this position is $900 per month. Accommodation will be provided.

Location:
This position is based in Lisbon. Portuguese nationality or EU citizenship is preferred but not required.
