Radio Technician - Faroe Islands


We are seeking a skilled Radio Technician to join our team in the beautiful Faroe Islands. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio equipment used for communication and broadcasting purposes. This is an urgent job with a salary of 1700$, with the added benefit of provided accommodation and the opportunity to obtain your own visa.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of radio equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with radio equipment
- Install new radio equipment according to specifications
- Monitor signal strength and quality to ensure optimal performance
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed on radio equipment
- Stay updated on industry advancements and make recommendations for improvements

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of electronic systems and components
- Familiarity with different types of radios and their functions
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Good physical stamina for working in various locations, including at heights or in confined spaces

Preferred qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Electronics or related field
- Experience working with marine radios
- Knowledge of maritime regulations for radio communications
