Information Security Analyst (Funchal, Portugal)


We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Information Security Analyst to join our team in Funchal. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our organization's information assets. Your primary role will be to assess and mitigate potential security risks, implement security measures, and monitor our systems for any potential threats.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security risks
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Monitor networks and systems for any signs of unauthorized access or malicious activity
- Investigate security breaches and provide recommendations for remediation
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends, and make recommendations for improving our overall security posture
- Conduct regular training sessions for employees on information security best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security analysis or related role
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security tools
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques
- Familiarity with industry regulations such as GDPR and ISO 27001/27002
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends in data
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Salary: 1700$ per month
