Carpenter

A reputable construction company in Nairobi is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for building, installing, and repairing structures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. This position requires a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine project specifications
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications
- Cut, shape, and smooth materials using hand or power tools
- Install structures such as windows, doors, stairs, and cabinets
- Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or other structures
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry
- Proficient in reading blueprints and using hand/power tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials

Preferred:
- Indian nationality or experience working with Indian construction companies
- Valid work visa for Kenya or willingness to obtain one with our company's sponsorship

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Nairobi (willingness to relocate preferred)
