Excavator Operator



We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in La-Condamine. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in operating heavy machinery, specifically excavators, and a solid understanding of construction safety regulations. This position offers a competitive salary of $1500 per month without accommodation and is suitable for men.

As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the excavator to ensure smooth and efficient operations on construction sites. This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting any technical issues, and adhering to all safety protocols. You will also be responsible for following project plans and instructions from supervisors to complete excavation tasks accurately and efficiently.

The successful candidate should have excellent hand-eye coordination, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. You must also have a valid excavator operator license and experience in operating various types of excavators.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to dig trenches, foundations, or holes according to project plans
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on the equipment before and after each shift
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during operations
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the construction site
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks effectively
- Ensure accurate measurements and precise digging as per project plans
- Keep track of fuel usage and report any discrepancies or low levels
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Valid excavator operator license
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an excavator operator
- Strong understanding of construction safety regulations
- Ability to read project plans
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical skills
- Physically fit with the ability to work long hours if required
- Attention to detail
