Excavator Operator

We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Svalbard. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of 1100$, without accommodation, and is suitable for men with their own visa.

As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate, move, load, and grade earth, rock, gravel or other materials during construction projects. You will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance on the equipment and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

To be successful in this role, you must have at least 2 years of experience operating excavators and have a valid operator's license. You should also have a high school diploma or equivalent and be physically fit to withstand long hours of sitting and operating heavy machinery.

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, has excellent hand-eye coordination, and can work well under pressure. Strong communication skills are also essential as you will be working closely with other team members on the construction site.
