A reputable architecture firm in Aalborg is seeking a skilled and passionate Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures while maintaining their historical integrity. Your role will involve conducting thorough site assessments, developing preservation plans, and overseeing construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting site assessments to determine the condition of historic buildings and structures
- Developing preservation plans that comply with local regulations and preserve the historical integrity of the building
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure successful preservation projects
- Providing technical guidance on preservation techniques and materials
- Overseeing construction projects to ensure they adhere to preservation plans
- Conducting research on historical buildings and structures to inform preservation plans
- Maintaining accurate documentation of all preservation projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Previous experience in preservation architecture preferred but not required
- Knowledge of local regulations and guidelines for historic preservation
- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials used in historical buildings
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with team members and clients
- Attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough site assessments
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software is a plus
