Caregiver - Contract Position in Faroe Islands


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team on a contract basis in Faroe Islands. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to elderly or disabled individuals, helping them with daily tasks and activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in the caregiving field while exploring the beautiful Faroe Islands.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication as prescribed by a physician
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry and tidying up
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Accompany clients to appointments or social outings
- Monitor clients' health status and report any changes to the supervisor

Requirements:
- No prior experience required - we will provide training
- High school diploma or equivalent education preferred
- Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Faroese is a plus)
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions from the supervisor
- Must be physically able to lift and move clients when necessary

Salary:
This contract position offers a salary of 1500$ per month, along with accommodation and meals provided by the client's family.
