Typesetting Specialist


We are currently hiring a skilled Typesetting Specialist to join our team in Clairvaux. As a Typesetting Specialist, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for various print and digital materials such as books, magazines, and advertisements. Your attention to detail and expertise in typography will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our publications. Responsibilities:
- Format text and images according to design specifications
- Proofread and edit documents for accuracy
- Collaborate with designers, editors, and other team members to ensure consistency across publications
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and software updates

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in typesetting or related field
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Strong knowledge of typography principles
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong time-management skills
- Good communication skills
- Must have legal authorization to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Experience with HTML/CSS
- Knowledge of print production processes

Salary: $1600/month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Clairvaux, Canada
