Concierge Assistant - Hospitality (Sheduva, Kenya)
We are seeking a friendly and organized Concierge Assistant to join our team at a luxury hotel in Sheduva, Kenya. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests, assisting with their needs and requests, and ensuring their overall satisfaction during their stay.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and provide a warm welcome upon arrival
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services and local attractions
- Make reservations for guests at restaurants, spa services or other activities
- Handle guest complaints or inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests or special arrangements
- Maintain knowledge of all events happening in the hotel and surrounding areas
- Ensure the lobby area is clean and presentable at all times
- Handle cash transactions for guest payments
- Assist with room service orders when needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are an asset)
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for providing exceptional customer service
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Benefits:
