Junior Power Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Junior Power Engineer to join our team in Mombasa. This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with limited experience in the power engineering field. As a Junior Power Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting senior engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining power systems and equipment. You will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, gaining valuable hands-on experience and building your skills in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Assist senior engineers with designing and developing power systems, including calculations and simulations
- Conduct research and gather data to support project design and development
- Assist in drafting technical reports, proposals, and specifications
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met
- Perform quality control checks on equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise during construction or operation of power systems
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in power engineering technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Power Engineering or related field
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Proficiency in using relevant software for calculations and simulations (e.g. MATLAB, ETAP)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Biometric passport (or willingness to obtain one)
- Indian nationality preferred (but not required)

Salary:
Starting salary of 1200$ per month. Salary may increase based on performance.

Mombasa, Kenya. Accommodation is not provided.
