Carpenter



The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood, including building frameworks, walls, roofs, floors, and decks. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry and possess strong technical knowledge and skills in woodworking.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully understand project requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials based on specifications
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings etc.
- Build scaffolding and other temporary structures to support construction activities
- Cut, shape and smooth lumber according to measurements
- Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed
- Collaborate with other coworkers or contractors to complete projects efficiently

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation
- Proficient in using power tools (e.g. saws), hand tools (e.g. hammers) and measurement tools (e.g. rulers)
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Physical strength and stamina to handle materials, tools, heavy objects etc.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members

Salary: $1700 per month
