Network and Systems Administrator


We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our growing team in Los Angeles. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization environments. You will also handle daily technical support activities related to the company's IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, maintain and upgrade network hardware (routers, switches) and software (operating systems, network management tools)
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Manage virtualization environments (VMware or Hyper-V)
- Maintain security protocols for all network devices
- Conduct regular backups of all critical data
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues
- Create user accounts and manage permissions on the network
- Ensure network connectivity throughout the organization's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware or Hyper-V)
- Experience with LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols, DNS/DHCP configurations
- Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (Windows Server 2012+) and Active Directory management
- Good understanding of firewalls, routers, switches and other networking equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a timely manner
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
