Florist Assistant



We are hiring a skilled and creative Florist Assistant to join our team in Malindi. As a Florist Assistant, you will assist our experienced florists in creating beautiful floral arrangements and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in selecting and preparing flowers for arrangements
- Create basic floral arrangements under the guidance of senior florists
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
- Greet customers and assist with their floral needs
- Take orders over the phone or in person and process payments
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering suggestions
- Help with setting up displays and maintaining visual appeal in the store

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Previous experience working in a flower shop or similar environment preferred
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and their care methods
- Creativity and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service-oriented attitude with strong problem-solving skills

Salary:
This is a contract job with a salary of 1800$ per month.
