Executive Chef
As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations at our high-end restaurant in Al-Malikiyah. You will use your expertise and creativity to develop new menu items, train and manage kitchen staff, and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Your passion for food and dedication to providing exceptional dining experiences will be reflected in all aspects of your work.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new menu items that reflect the restaurant's concept and appeal to a diverse clientele
- Create and maintain standard recipes for all menu items
- Train kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques, portion control, and plating presentation
- Ensure quality control by conducting regular taste tests of all dishes
- Oversee inventory management to maintain adequate stock levels while minimizing waste
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of fresh, high-quality ingredients
- Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Collaborate with management team to develop promotions and special events that highlight the restaurant's cuisine
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Proven track record of creating delicious, visually appealing dishes that meet customer expectations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for sanitation and hygiene
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be fluent in English; fluency in Arabic is preferred but not required
