Livestock Specialist - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

As a Livestock Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the care and well-being of livestock on a farm or ranch. This includes monitoring their health, nutrition, and reproduction, as well as implementing disease prevention measures and maintaining proper living conditions for the animals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily health checks on livestock and identify any signs of illness or injury
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a veterinarian
- Develop and implement nutrition plans to ensure proper growth and productivity of livestock
- Monitor breeding programs and assist with birthing processes as needed
- Maintain accurate records of all livestock activities and treatments
- Implement biosecurity protocols to prevent the spread of diseases among the animals
- Oversee the maintenance of facilities and equipment used for livestock care
- Train and supervise other farm workers in proper animal handling techniques

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with livestock on a farm or ranch
- Knowledge of animal health, nutrition, and reproduction principles
- Ability to recognize signs of illness or injury in livestock
- Experience with administering medications and treatments to animals
- Strong record keeping skills
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Physically fit to handle the demands of working with large animals
- Biometric passport required for travel purposes
