Fitter Technician



We are hiring a skilled Fitter Technician to join our team in Kaunas, Lithuania. As a Fitter Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems and machinery. Your role will involve reading and interpreting technical drawings, operating power tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assemble and install mechanical components according to technical drawings
- Use power tools and manual equipment to fabricate parts
- Inspect machinery for defects and perform maintenance as needed
- Troubleshoot issues with machines and make necessary repairs
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and machinery
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately
- Skilled in using power tools and manual equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to find solutions quickly
- Good physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy machinery and equipment
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

- Technical degree or certification in mechanical engineering or related field
- Prior experience working with industrial machinery or equipment installation is a plus

Salary Range: $1200/month

Contract Type: Full-time, 1-year contract (with possibility of extension)

Location: Kaunas, Lithuania (visa sponsorship available)
