Entry Level Software Tester

As an entry level software tester, you will be responsible for testing and evaluating software applications to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. You will work closely with the development team to identify and report any defects or issues, as well as suggest improvements or enhancements. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing on software applications
- Create test cases and execute them according to project requirements
- Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes
- Participate in test planning and strategy sessions
- Provide feedback on user experience and suggest improvements for usability
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software testing

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred
- Prior experience in software testing is a plus but not required
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Akron, Ohio (remote work not available)
