Head Chef

As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and leading a team of cooks to deliver high-quality dishes that meet our customers' expectations. You will be in charge of creating and updating menus, ordering ingredients and supplies, and ensuring that all food safety and hygiene standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that align with our restaurant's concept and target market
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistency and quality
- Train and manage kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, sanitation standards, and safety procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and order ingredients as needed while controlling costs
- Maintain kitchen equipment in good working condition by scheduling regular maintenance checks
- Enforce strict hygiene practices to maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide kitchen staff
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to create innovative menus while considering cost control measures
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with front-of-house staff

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1800 per month for this full-time position.
