Executive Chef - Egyptian Cuisine (Washington, USA)
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef with a passion for Egyptian cuisine to join our team in Washington, USA. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a variety of traditional and modern Egyptian dishes that showcase the rich flavors and ingredients of this unique cuisine.
Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative menus that feature authentic Egyptian dishes, while also incorporating modern techniques and ingredients
- Manage all aspects of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high quality and consistency in all dishes
- Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop pricing strategies for menu items
- Create special menus for events or catering services
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef specializing in Egyptian cuisine
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Egyptian recipes, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills (in English) to effectively communicate with staff, management, and customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
- Must have a valid work permit or be eligible to work in the USA
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this full-time position.
