Loader Operator for Construction Company in Akron, USA

We are currently hiring a skilled Loader Operator to join our construction team in Akron. As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery such as loaders, excavators, and bulldozers to load materials onto trucks or move them around the construction site. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension and includes visa sponsorship for eligible candidates.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating loaders in a construction setting
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment, specifically loaders, in a safe and efficient manner on the construction site
- Read and interpret construction plans to determine loading requirements
- Load materials onto trucks or move them around the site as directed by the foreman or project manager
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Communicate effectively with team members and report any issues or concerns to supervisors
