As a Loader in Akron, OH, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely loading and unloading goods onto trucks or other transportation vehicles. Your main duty will be to ensure that all items are properly stored and secured for transport.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of loading equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Load and unload goods onto trucks or other transportation vehicles according to loading instructions
- Inspect goods for any damages or defects before loading them onto the vehicle
- Ensure that all items are properly stacked and secured to prevent damage during transit
- Record and track loaded items using inventory management systems or paper records
- Follow safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to coordinate loading schedules and prioritize tasks

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred
- Experience operating forklifts and other loading equipment required
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects on a regular basis
- Attention to detail with the ability to follow loading instructions accurately
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
