Excavator Operator



We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Nairobi. As an Excavator Operator, your main responsibility will be to operate heavy equipment, including excavators, to complete construction and excavation projects efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators and other heavy equipment to complete construction and excavation projects
- Follow safety protocols and ensure safe operation of equipment at all times
- Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment and report any issues or maintenance needs
- Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
- Use hand signals to communicate with other workers on the job site
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including fuel usage and machine maintenance
- Follow proper loading procedures for trucks and other transportation vehicles
- Work closely with the project manager and team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulations

Requirements:
- Proven experience operating excavators in a construction or excavation setting
- Valid certification in operating heavy equipment preferred but not required
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to operating heavy equipment
- Ability to read construction plans and blueprints accurately
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- High attention to detail with a focus on completing tasks accurately and efficiently

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1400$ per month.

City:
This job is located in Nairobi.

Preference:
Preference will be given to Indian or Egyptian candidates.
