Librarian for English-Speaking Library in Eschen

We are in need of a passionate and knowledgeable Librarian to join our team at the English-speaking library in Eschen. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, assisting patrons with research and finding materials, and organizing events and workshops. This position requires fluency in English and experience working in a library setting.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection of books, magazines, and other materials
- Assist patrons in finding resources and conducting research
- Organize and lead events such as book clubs, author talks, and workshops
- Maintain the library's cataloging system and ensure all materials are properly labeled and shelved
- Develop relationships with community organizations to promote the library's services
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in literature and recommend new materials for acquisition

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to assist patrons of all ages
- Familiarity with cataloging systems
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
