Merchandiser (Mombasa, Kenya)


We are seeking an experienced Merchandiser to join our team in Mombasa, Kenya. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper presentation and distribution of our products in various retail stores.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail store managers and staff
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of products
- Create eye-catching displays and arrange products in an appealing manner
- Conduct regular store visits to check on product placement and availability
- Collaborate with sales team to develop strategies for increasing product visibility and sales
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for improving performance
- Train and educate retail staff on product features, benefits, and selling techniques
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role
- Familiarity with merchandising techniques and visual standards for retail stores
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred

Salary: $1400/month
