Mason - Construction Worker


We are seeking a skilled Mason to join our construction team in Clairvaux. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures made of brick, stone, concrete, or other similar materials. Your main duty will be to lay and bind building materials, such as bricks, blocks, or stones, to construct walls, foundations, chimneys, and other structures.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be covered with brick or stone
- Prepare and lay out materials for construction
- Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces using a trowel
- Lay bricks or other types of masonry units according to blueprints or plans
- Use hand tools such as hammers, chisels, levels, and trowels to shape and trim materials
- Align structures vertically and horizontally using plumb bob or spirit level
- Clean excess mortar from surfaces using water and brushes
- Repair any damaged structures by replacing broken masonry units
- Collaborate with other construction workers to ensure projects are completed on time
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear while working

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proven experience as a Mason or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of different masonry techniques and tools
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials on a regular basis
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Good time management skills to meet project deadlines

Salary:
The salary for this full-time position is 1300$. This is a suitable job for men who are physically fit. Applicants must have a biometric passport that allows them to legally work in the city of Clairvaux.
